Due to a significant makeover scheduled for the 2022 Mercedes-Benz C-class, the entry-luxury automobile category is in for some significant changes. Even though the C-class has long been considered the entry-level model in the Mercedes-Benz lineup, new additions to the brand in recent years, such as the A-class sedan, have allowed the C-class to move upmarket and better compete against rivals such as the Audi A4, BMW 3-series, and Genesis G70. Is AMG available on the C-Class?

Every Mercedes C-Class AMG is equipped with a 9-speed transmission that shifts quickly. Pricing and Choosing Which One to Purchase

Mercedes-Benz will provide three separate trim levels on the 2022 C-class, rather than offering a la carte choices like the previous generation vehicle. These are Premium, Exclusive, and Pinnacle. Upon closer inspection, it seems that the Exclusive trim at the mid-range price point will appeal to the most number of consumers, thanks to features like a 360-degree exterior camera system, a self-parking capability, wireless smartphone charging, and a Burmester quality music system. Although we anticipate Mercedes to continue selling the C-class in a coupe and convertible body style in the future, we expect just the sedan to be offered at the start of the model year. Most features, including a prominent touchscreen display, digital gauges, heated front seats, automatic high-beam headlights, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a sunroof, and other amenities, are standard on all variants. Engine, Transmission, and Performance are all crucial considerations

Even though the 2022 C-class will continue to be driven by a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with 255 horsepower, the engine will be supplemented by a 48-volt hybrid system that can deliver up to 20 more horsepower on demand. An all-wheel drive is still an option. The rear-wheel industry is the default configuration; a nine-speed automatic transmission is a sole transmission available. Even though we haven’t had a chance to test the Mercedes-Benz C-class on our test track, Mercedes-Benz predicts that it will reach 60 mph in 5.9 seconds. We feel the figure is modest, given that the previous generation C-class achieved a time of 5.4 seconds.

Fuel economy and real-world miles per gallon (MPG)

The Environmental Protection Agency has not yet released fuel economy estimates for the 2022 C-class. Still, the new car’s ratings should be similar to the current model, which gets 23 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway. Mercedes C Class 2022 interior, comfort, and cargo space

With a new high-tech interior, the C-class has undergone the most significant transformation to date. All versions are equipped with a digital gauge display, touch-sensitive controls, and a slew of other features. The new model has a steering wheel that is similar in appearance to that of the revised S-class cars.
