This beat the more powerful SQ5 Sportback by 0.3 seconds. If you drive a luxury compact crossover, its suspension is well-damped. It gives you a sense of stability, no matter the road or weather. Even if you don’t have the optional adaptive suspension, the ride is smooth and controlled, even on bumpy roads. The steering is precise and light, but there is no noticeable feedback from the front wheels. The steering feels heavier during the Dynamic drive mode, but it still feels a little fake. You can drive the Q5 down a twisty two-lane road, but a Porsche Macan will give you a better time.
