The 2022 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque has a design advantage over its subcompact luxury SUV rivals. Still, its allure is tainted by practical flaws, including a small luggage room and cramped rear-seat space. While the inside is well-designed and well-equipped, numerous dimensionally smaller competitors provide roomier cabins with comparable features. All-wheel drive is standard, and two turbocharged engines are offered, but the Evoque’s handling is less agile than SUVs like the BMW X1, Mercedes-Benz GLB-class, and Volvo XC40. Although it lacks the digital instrument cluster and dual touchscreen interface, it does come standard with leather seats, a Light Oyster Morzine headliner, and Gradated Linear Bright Aluminum trim. The craftsmanship is excellent, and the different technology at the top of the Range enhances an already well-designed cabin. The front seats have plenty of space, but the back seats are tight.

Colors and Materials in the Interior

Inside the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque, high-grade materials are a given, but there are several degrees. Grained leather seats are included in the more affordable variants (S and SE). Still, you may upgrade to Eucalyptus textile or Ultrafabrics seats at no additional charge if you’re concerned about the environment. Ebony, Cloud, and Eclipse are the leather trim options. Heated front seats, a power tailgate, keyless entry, and wireless phone charging with a signal booster are all standard on the 2022 model. Land Rover’s newest Pivi Pro interface is standard on the Evoque. The traditional S comes with a single ten-inch touchscreen, but the SE has two ten-inch screens. A six-speaker sound system is included in both versions. The HST variant has a Meridian premium sound system with 14 speakers (plus one sub) and 650-watt output.
