A 15-inch infotainment screen serves as the vehicle’s command center, allowing drivers to operate almost every feature. Our only complaint is that it does not have Android Auto or Apple CarPlay.

First- and second-row passengers will like the spaciousness of the theater’s seating arrangement. There isn’t much legroom in the Long Range model’s optional third row. Still, it comes in handy if you find yourself with an unexpectedly large group occasionally. As a result of the electric drivetrain, the interior is quiet. The seats are supportive enough for long-distance driving.

The 5-seat vehicles have a considerable amount of cargo room. However, adding the extra third row reduces the amount of space available. Sixty-eight cubic feet of cargo space is available in the back when the back seats are folded down. A tiny “frunk” is located up front where the engine typically is.

Exterior

Unlike the Model 3 sedan, the Tesla Model Y has an SUV-like body. Features sloping roof and body lines with attractive wheels and rims. The lowered suspension, 21-inch wheels, and carbon fiber rear spoiler distinguish the Performance trim level.

The Tesla Model Y is on the larger end of the small SUV category in terms of its dimensions. Even though it’s smaller than the Honda CR-V & Toyota RAV4, it’s still a full size larger than the Ford Mustang Mach-E.

Merchandise and Reliability
