Even if the majority of Tesla Model S and Model X purchasers aren’t aware of it, the first Tesla Roadster helped put the all-electric manufacturer on the map. The new model was supposed to make its debut in 2021, but it hasn’t been released to the public just yet, so we can only assume that its release has been postponed. The newer model of the Roadster outperforms its predecessor in a number of ways, including having two tiny back seats, having a much increased driving range, and having a significantly greater degree of performance. When the Tesla Roadster concept was introduced in 2017, Tesla CEO Elon Musk made a brag about a 1.9-second time to 60 miles per hour and a 250-mile-per-hour peak speed. These are stats that we very much hope will prove to be true when this sports vehicle is ultimately released.
Power and Performance
When Elon Musk revealed the new Tesla Roadster as a concept in November 2017, he boasted about some unrealistic performance numbers for the vehicle. These numbers included a time of 1.9 seconds to reach 60 miles per hour, a top speed of more than 250 miles per hour, and a quarter-mile time of just 8.8 seconds. That is just unacceptable. For the sake of comparison, if that time to 60 miles per hour holds up, it will indicate that the Roadster is one full second faster than its primary competitor, the gasoline-powered McLaren 570S. Musk mentioned once again that the Roadster would be equipped with all-wheel drive as standard at this press conference. This comes as less of a surprise. To drive all four wheels, Tesla’s standard electric vehicle models make use of two electric motors, one located in the front and the other located in the back; thus, it is only logical that we would see the same configuration for the Roadster.

The range provided by the battery with a capacity of 200 kWh is supposed to be up to 620 miles, although it is very probable that this figure will only be attainable under extremely moderate usage; going to the track for several flat-out fast laps would reduce that estimate by a significant amount.

Interior and Comfort
The Roadster is still just a concept at this point, and it is common practise for ideas to undergo substantial revisions as they are developed into production vehicles. The Roadster idea has been revealed to have a detachable glass panel roof that can be stored in the trunk when not in use. Although it has four seats, the roofline of the Roadster is sloped at such a steep angle that it gives the impression that the back seats are not designed for adults. Aside from that, you can anticipate seeing the trademark minimalist interior design that Tesla is known for implemented here.
Infotainment and Connectivity
The design of the idea has a big touchscreen that runs from the top of the dashboard all the way down to the centre console. There is a storage compartment located below the touchscreen.
